Removing the Back Support
The back support can be detached completely from the wheelchair via a quick release system. This is useful, for example, when loading the wheelchair into a small car:
The cable leading up from the base must be unplugged in the back. To do so, unfasten the fabric cover at the Velcro strip on the base and fold it upwards so that the cable connection is visible.
Fold down the back support.
From behind, pull out the upper locking bolts at the knob towards the center.
The back support is now completely detached from the base and can be removed.
