Frequently Asked Questions

General

Please read this user manual carefully before the first use. It contains all the important information about the functions and use of the car ramp. Pay special attention to the safety instructions.

The safety and functionality of the car ramp has been tested with the Scewo BRO electric wheelchair. We cannot guarantee that other loads are suitable for the car ramp. We recommend using the car ramp only with the BRO.

Disposal and Environment

The shipping packaging of the car ramp is made of cardboard and can be recycled. The individual components of the car ramp can be disassembled and recycled once the components are sorted by material. The components can be recycled according to the regulations of the city or municipal administration.

Purpose of Use

This car ramp is designed to load heavy, mobile machinery or wheelchairs ("load") into a vehicle. The car ramp can be adjusted to the height of the vehicle's loading edge. The maximum load capacity for an assembled car ramp (pair) is 190 kg. The ramp must only be used with a minimum angle of 28°. If this angle is not maintained, the load capacity cannot be guaranteed.

Caution

Never use the car ramp to load people, or if someone is on the load!

Scope of Delivery

The car ramp is delivered from the factory in the largest configuration.

Configurations & Technical Data

General technical data:

  • Rated load (pair): 190 kg

  • Minimum angle to the ground: 28°

  • Maximum angle to the ground: see the load's operating instructions. For the BRO from Scewo, the maximum angle is 36°

The car ramp must be adjusted according to the vehicle's loading edge height. You can find the appropriate configuration for straight trunks in the following table:
